Title: The Dogs of Albany

I was walking up State Street in Albany, NY, where I saw some dead kittens on the sidewalk. I continued walking past the Capitol building where I saw the head of a dead German Shepherd on the lawn. I didn't think too much of it, and I went to MHANYS, my place of work.

For some reason I had to drive up to Clifton Park and 'borrow' a recycle bin, which, in Clifton Park, meant one of those big garbage cans with the wheels on the back. I snuck into ten different garages and 'borrowed' big recycle bins, but they kept vanishing off the back of my truck before I even drove a block away. Finally I realized they were blowing off in the wind (and vanishing).

I drove back to a house that I remembered had a lot of recycle bins to 'borrow' another one. What I didn't know was that it was Joe G.'s house (the big boss at my place of work). As I was 'borrowing' the recycling bin, Joe caught me and invited me inside where he and his extended family were preparing a big Thanksgiving-style dinner. Joe poured me a drink and began telling me all about the recycling program of Clifton Park.

Before the family sat down to dinner I was able to excuse myself, and drove back to MHANYS with several recycle bins from Joe's garage. When I got to the office, David K. asked me to go look something up at the SUNY-downtown library because he and Joe had to give a speech that night to a bunch of legislators.

In this dream the area covered by NYS Capitol property extended from State St. around the Crowne Plaza Hotel all the way up to the SUNY-downtown campus (aka Rockefeller Campus). To get to SUNY-downtown I had to walk past one of the main buildings of this NYS Capitol zone. As I walked there I saw another dead German Shepherd on the lawn and was so grossed out I ran the rest of the way to the library. On the way back, however, I tried to take a shortcut and I found that the lawn around the Capitol was full of dead German Shepherd parts: lots of ears, some heads, limbs, and a few fairly intact German Shepherd corpses.

I ran back to MHANYS, and I asked David to explain why dead German Shepherds would be littered all over the Capitol. He looked very sad and somber, and just as he was about to explain it to me I woke up.
