Title: Genetically-Modified Basketball Players
I was visiting a friend in an attic apartment. We hung out for a while, and watched a basketball game on the television. Then, slowly, these middle-aged and older women started arriving. It was very hot and stuffy in the apartment so I went out. In the lower part of the house I met some scientists busy doing something. They seemed friendly but not that interesting.
I walked around some more until I ran into Stephanie L. and Moon watching a basketball game on a TV mounted in the wall of the hallway. They informed me that something very weird was going on. For the past year or so, no new basketball games had been shown. All the networks were showing was reruns of games from 1995, but pretending like they were new. Also, all the modern basketball stars had vanished.
Now I was concerned. I went back to the attic apartment where I learned that the scientists I had met were actually mad scientists involved in a vast, and so far unsuccessful, conspiracy to genetically mutate middle-aged and senior white and Asian women into superior basketball-playing young adult, black males. As I watched them inject large metal hypodermic needles into the roofs of the women's mouths, I realized - 'This is vast and strange conspiracy'. So I called directory assistance to get Agents Mulder and Scully's phone number. Then, to my horror, the women began bleeding and frothing at the mouth and going into violent convulsions and their flesh started bubbling, erupting in boils, screaming in agony etc. Fortunately directory assistance came through and I got Scully on the line, but as I tried to explain what I was witnessing and save the world, or at least these women, I woke up.
