Sangrita is apparently the traditional accompaniment to tequila in Mexico, where sips of tequila are alternated with sips of the tangy, spicy, non-alcoholic sangrita.

Combine orange juice, cayenne pepper, lime juice, pomegranate juice, minced jalapeño, and salt in a 1-quart glass container. Cover and chill for at least one hour. Strain jalapeños out before serving.
